These 2 teams hated each other from the past and continue to do so this year. The Lakers vs. Celtics is the grand daddy of all match up and the NBA dream match up, this will get them the rating they been looking for. Last year LeBron James vs. the Spurs got the worst rating in the NBA Finals history but this year Finals Lakers vs. Celtics will have one of the highest rating in recent memory.

I won't call it boring but honestly I feel sad right now and don't think I'll enjoy the finals as much as I used to. Yes I know 99% of everyone else will think the opposite. Yes I know it'll inevitably get the highest ratings since the Jordan era. To me the last 5 years were times when small, unknown teams won the championship, who didn't depend on their cronies in other teams sending their best players over to them. They were times when for the most part champions didn't care about what their ratings were or how many fans they have, but for the love of the game. I feel like that has come to an end, with money and profit taking over.
Yes, I think people are way over hyping it. It is NOT going to be as good as it is being sold. Celtics have only played a handful of interesting games so far. Lakers have made it more interesting, but nothing as great as the Suns v Spurs Game 1, WOW. Or GSW vs Mavs last year, even better!
The complete opposite. Celtics are gonna own, though.
